In January 2013, bellaflora appointed senft & partner as its PR agency. With classical media work and unconventional street campaigns we have been communicating the concerns of Austria’s Green Number 1 to the public since then – and have been very successful with it. In November 2013, bellaflora and senft & partner were nominated for the Austrian State Prize for Public Relations and won first place in the category “Corporate Communications”. 2014 bellaflora and senft & partner are nominated for the International German PR Award 2014 in the category "CSR" and won the VAMP Award in the category "Guerilla Marketing".

As Austria‘s Green Number 1, bellaflora is a pioneer in the area of sustainability. With its FLOWER POWER initiative, bellaflora provided an umbrella for all its nature-oriented gardening projects. In 2013, bellaflora was the first and to date only garden centre in Austria which switched to natural plant protection products. The next milestone followed in 2014, when bellaflora changed its product range to organic fertilizers at the start of the gardening season. And the company will continue with these measures year on year, advancing step by step towards greater sustainability.

We have supported FLOWER POWER in communicative terms since January 2013: from strategic counselling, textual design and promotion in all public channels to image campaigns off the beaten track. Our targeted communication measures contribute to accomplishing bellaflora’s clear-cut economic objectives.

Press trips and conferences addressing issues of interest provide an important source of information for media from different fields. In addition, major emphasis is also placed on personal dialogue, which is always conducted on an equal footing. This is also the guiding principle for bellaflora’s relations with its cooperation partners like GLOBAL 2000.



Apart from conventional press work and close communication with journalists, the integration of social media channels (Facebook, You Tube) into our strategic communications planning allows us to reach out directly to the environmental community, consumers and other important sections of the public.



In the field of urban gardening, bellaflora attaches major importance to raising awareness for this issue. Organic gardening can also be done in small spaces. By staging Vienna’s “First Vegetable Demonstration” and the “Flight of the Bumblebee in Vienna” Flash Mob, bellaflora and senft & partner brought organic gardening to the streets.
